Terms & Conditions



Security Deposit

  • A security deposit of £100 is required to cover any potential damages or loss of property during your stay.
  • This deposit must be paid prior to check-in and will be refunded within 2 days after the stay, pending an inspection of the property to ensure no damages or violations of this agreement have occurred.
  • Deductions from the deposit may be made for:
    • Damage to the apartment or its contents
    • Excessive cleaning fees if the apartment is not left in a reasonable condition
    • Loss of keys or other security devices
    • Violation of any house rules resulting in fines or penalties
  • Guests will be notified of any deductions, with an itemised report, via the email provided. The remaining balance will be returned to the guest via the original payment method.

 

Insurance and Liability

  • Soho Yard does not assume liability for any loss, damage, or theft of guests’ personal belongings during the stay.
  • Guests are encouraged to have their own personal travel insurance to cover their belongings and any accidental damage caused to the property.
  • If accidental damage exceeds the amount of the security deposit or results in personal liability, the guest is responsible for the full cost of the damage or loss.

 

Code of Conduct

  • Courtesy and Consideration:
    Guests are required to be courteous to staff, neighbours, and other residents. Any behaviour that is deemed offensive, abusive, or disruptive may result in the immediate termination of the stay, with no refund or compensation provided.
  • Respect for Property:
    Guests must treat the property and its contents with care. Any actions resulting in permanent stains, breakages, or irreparable damage to furniture, fixtures, or fittings will be charged to the guest.

 

Conditions of Stay

Soho Yard grants the above-named guests permission to stay in the show apartment for one night, provided they adhere to the following conditions:

  1. Authorised Guests
    Only the guests listed in this agreement are permitted to stay at or visit the property. No pets or additional guests are allowed without prior written permission.
  1. Age Requirement
    All guests must be aged 18 or over. The winner of the competition must be a guest staying in the property.
  1. Property Care and Maintenance
    • You agree to maintain the property, including all furniture, fixtures, and effects, in the same condition and location as when you arrived. Any alterations or damage may result in a liability.
    • Guests are required to keep the apartment clean and tidy throughout their stay.
  1. Use of Property
    • The apartment may not be used for any illegal activity.
    • Music must not be played after 10:00 PM to avoid disturbance to other residents.
    • Parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited within the apartment.
  1. Noise and Disturbance
    Guests agree to maintain a quiet and respectful environment. Nuisance or disturbance to neighbours or interference with their peace, comfort, or privacy will not be tolerated.
  1. Smoking and Pets
    Smoking is prohibited both within the apartment and on the premises. Pets are not allowed.
  1. Damage Prevention
    • Guests must not cause any damage to the premises or furnishings. If accidental damage occurs, it must be reported to the concierge team immediately.
    • Do not block sinks, drains, or other plumbing systems.
  1. Rubbish and Recycling
    Household rubbish and recycling must be disposed of in the designated bins provided.
  1. Shared Amenities
    Guests may use shared amenities, including the gym and roof terrace, at their own risk. Guests are responsible for their safety when using these facilities.
  1. Privacy and Security
    Guests must respect the privacy of the residents living at Soho Yard.
    All keys and security devices must be returned upon departure. Loss of keys may incur a replacement fee.

 

Damages and Liability

  • If any damage is caused to the property or its contents, or if fines/losses are incurred due to violations of local ordinances (e.g., noise violations), the management team will make reasonable efforts to discuss this with the guest.
  • If it is deemed that the damage or violation is valid under statutory rules, the guest agrees to cover the costs of the damage via the payment method provided.
  • Any disputes regarding damages will be handled as per applicable local laws.

 

At the End of the Stay

  • The apartment must be vacated by 10:30 AM on the departure date.
  • All keys and security devices must be returned at checkout.
  • The property must be left in the same condition it was upon arrival, including cleanliness and furniture arrangement.
